Epic Action Adventure ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ Hits TV Screens with Thrilling Edits
Prepare for a thrilling ride as the cinematic phenomenon Dhurandhar The Revenge makes its television debut, promising an exhilarating experience for fans across the nation! After breaking box office records and becoming a sensation on streaming platforms, this action-packed saga is all set to premiere on Star Gold this Sunday, October 18, at 7:00 p.m.
Initially released with an ‘A’ certification for its theatrical run, the filmmakers needed to navigate the challenges of creating a television-friendly version suitable for younger audiences. Enter the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which has given its nod to a revised U/A 16+ edition, ensuring a wider reach without compromising the film’s essence.
On September 24, the CBFC officially cleared this new version. But not without a few creative tweaks! The television cut of Dhurandhar The Revenge runs at 219 minutes and 6 seconds, approximately 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 6 seconds of non-stop action. This means it’s a neat ten minutes shorter than its original 229.6-minute theatrical release.
With a star-studded ensemble featuring the dynamic Ranveer Singh, the intense Akshaye Khanna, the versatile R Madhavan, the legendary Sanjay Dutt, the charismatic Arjun Rampal, and the talented Sara Arjun, this blockbuster is a visual treat. Directed by the visionary Aditya Dhar and brought to life by B62 Studios and Jio Studios, Dhurandhar The Revenge promises to keep viewers at the edge of their seats.
