New York’s Iconic H&H Bagels Is Coming to Avenir in Palm Beach Gardens
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Avenir Town Center welcomed H&H Bagels with a soft opening on Monday, August 17, ahead of its grand opening on Thursday, August 20, marking the latest milestone in the phased opening of Avenir’s nearly 200,000-square-foot retail and lifestyle destination. Following the May debut of Publix and the subsequent opening of Walgreens, H&H Bagels expands the Town Center’s offerings from everyday essentials to the morning and midday experiences that help define daily life at Avenir. Following H&H’s opening, Carmela Coffee will be the next to join the Avenir community, with its soft opening set for Friday, August 21.

H&H Bagels was founded on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in 1972 and has used its original recipe and traditional water-bagel method for more than five decades. The dough is proofed and kettle-boiled in New York City water, then shipped and baked fresh on site throughout the day. The brand has also become part of New York popular culture through appearances in Seinfeld and Sex and the City.
The Avenir restaurant expands H&H Bagels’ Palm Beach County presence alongside locations in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. Its menu ranges from classic bagels and flavored cream cheeses to bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, Nova salmon with traditional toppings, specialty lunch sandwiches and catering boxes. The new location is at 12465 Northlake Boulevard.
Designed as Avenir’s business heart, the Town Center is approved for 200,000 square feet of retail and commercial space and 1.8 million square feet of Class A office space. Its pedestrian-friendly setting and dedicated golf cart connections make dining, shopping and services easily accessible from Avenir’s residential neighborhoods. Additional announced tenants include Field of Greens, Venetian Nail Spa, Sloan’s Ice Cream, Smoke & Maple Gastropub, Seppe Pizza Bar, Tenka Sushi, C.R. Chicks and a growing mix of retail, wellness and professional services.
The Town Center’s continued activation is one part of Avenir’s broader progress. Health Park at Avenir broke ground in June and is planned to include a neighborhood hospital, emergency services, inpatient beds and medical office space.
