In a candid chat with Behindwoods, Jason Sanjay revealed his aspirational pick for a Hollywood action movie co-star alongside the indomitable Jason Statham. When asked which Indian star he would cast, his choice was immediate and heartfelt—his father, the legendary Thalapathy Vijay. “The first person who comes to me is my Appa (Thalapathy Vijay). It will be an excellent combo. I hope Jason Statham watches this,” Sanjay expressed with a hopeful smile.
During the interview, Sanjay also spoke fondly of his admiration for composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, sharing a charming anecdote from his childhood. “Back in the day, I used to wear hoodies printed with Yuvan sir’s portrait. I would ask my Appa to take pictures of me wearing the sweater and email them to Yuvan sir,” he reminisced. Adding to the excitement, Sanjay disclosed that Yuvan has lent his melodious voice for a song in Sigma.
