To begin, activate your app connections in the Gemini settings and tap the Live icon to start speaking.

With Gemini Live, you can now use your voice to manage complex tasks across your Google apps. Simply speak to organize your schedule, sort your emails, or transform disordered ideas into orderly documents. It even recalls past conversations to provide more useful responses. Essentially, it acts as a personal assistant that handles demanding tasks while you’re on the move.

Today, a significant productivity enhancement is being introduced to Gemini Live, incorporating powerful agentic capabilities so you can achieve more with your voice than ever before.

Integration with Spark allows you to use natural voice commands to initiate complex, multi-step tasks that function autonomously. Spark operates seamlessly across Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and the web, retaining your objectives as it proceeds. It manages long-term, scheduled tasks across days or weeks, even when the app is not actively in use.

Commence your day with immediate clarity. You can now access your Daily Brief in Gemini Live, offering a spoken summary of your day’s to-do list. Simply say, “What’s my daily brief?” and Gemini will compile your most important updates from Gmail and Calendar into one concise digest. It perfectly answers “what should I care about today?” without screen interaction.

A new feature allows you to manage your inbox using only your voice. Gemini acts as a conversational partner for quick email sorting from Gmail. Ask, “Any new emails?” or “Are there any urgent emails from the kids’ school today?” You can search, summarize, star, archive, or delete messages hands-free.

Gemini Live remembers your previous conversations and what matters to you, so you never start from scratch. With Personal Intelligence, Gemini links information across past conversations and your Google apps like Gmail, Photos, Search, and YouTube to make your assistant especially beneficial.
